Sessions or cookies

Hey guys

Sorry if I look like a noob with all these questions
coding a sim game is harder then I though and with all the knowledge I have

anyway...

I am coding the players home page
and they enter their home page the link will show

www.name.com/home.php?id=1 etc...
I know where the ID comes from, it's when they signed up and their account gets an id stores in the database

but the thing I am stuck on
is how to code it to get it to do that as the link above shows

The example you gave isn't of sessions or cookies, its an example of the usage of the $_GET superglobal.

Anyway what exactly are you asking? If you read through PHP/MySQL more (forms and reading from databases) you'll find the simple answer.
