i get this error on the get data page

Notice: Undefined variable: id in l:\easyphp1-8\www\brochure\getdata.php on line 7

im almost shure it is because the variable $id is not defined?

and on the stor page

i get
Undefined variable: submit in l:\easyphp1-8\www\brochure\store.php on line 15

but the foum shows anyways.and when i submit it gives me a forbiden page?i guess cause of this:<?php echo $PHP_SELF; ?>

It's a very old article, written using php3 which had register_globals turned on.

This basically means that instead of being able to access a variable passed by a form or url you need to use $POST / $GET / $_REQUEST

So instead of things like:

if($id) {

  //do stuff

   }

You would use:

if($_REQUEST['id']) {

  //do stuff

   }

If all your errors are "Undefined variable" then you need to do the same to any other variables being passed through the form or url.

If it is another error then what is it?
