Help with emailing with php/mysql

I am trying to set up a sytem to email all of our grade 12 students. I am using php/mysql & the weird thing is some students receive the emails others don't yahoo mail & gmail are fine but hotmail doesn't. Can anyone tell me why????

Hotmail is lame like that.

I can usually get mail through by forging Outlook headers ..
