[RESOLVED] selecting based on timestamp

I need to select only records that were added to db table at least 3 hours ago. Each record has a datetime (0000-00-00 00:00:00) stamp.

How do I do that efficiently? I was thinking something like:

WHERE myRecord < (NOW() - INTERVAL 3 HOUR)

Is it even in the manual or am I making it up?
