I'm trying to rewrite /apple/egg/chicken into /apple/eat.php?q=chicken.
I have the following rewrite rule:
RewriteRule apple/egg/?(.*)$ http://localhost/apple/eat.php?q=$1 [L,QSA]
but, what I'm getting is for the link http://localhost/apple/egg/chicken
is http://localhost/apple/eat.php?q=.php/chicken.
where does the .php/ come from?
