PHP Mail (problems) * Newbie

Hello all new to the forum.

Question I have a simple script, real simple script to return a form via email however. It seems to somewhat work where as it redirects the person to my thank you page but no email ever gets sent.

I've tried several pre made form packages L10HTC and some others that worked with MySQL but could never get them to work correctly this leads me to believe something is not working on the server.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also turn on display_errors and make sure error_reporting is set to E_ALL. Then run the script again and see if any error messages are outputted.

I know its sad, but everyone has to start somewhere.. PHP is new to me

I've edited the php.ini in the past and it never kicks an error up. It seems like the script works fine however it never sends any mail. It redirects the user to the thank you page but never sends the form via email. And no errors are displayed.

My guess is that there's something wrong either with your mail server configuration or your php.ini file. I took your code and uploaded it to my hosting company, and it worked just fine.

You should run a phpinfo script and look at the sendmail settings. You may have to modify the php.ini file.
