Paging from last value - please help me

Hi I am making paging script and i have one problem with the paging..
ex: I have one sql with "values (3,'12.11.2007-my birthday','13.11.2007-go to school','14.11.2007-playing football');"
and i have one problem there.
My paging script - show the first article from first value.
Ex:
here are my news :
12.11.2007-my birthday
13.11.2007-go to school
14.11.2007-playing football

I want to be first the last value then the second and the last- third value
ex:
Here are my news:
14.11.2007-playing football
second article
13.11.2007-go to school
12.11.2007-my birthday

How to do this- please help me :rolleyes:

e.g. select * from mytable order by myfield desc
