Hi all,

I'm very new to PHP/MySQL coding. I'm so new that I've never done anything from scratch. I run an SMF forum that I've customised but it's been a case of Find Code and Copy After or Replace 🙂

So far so good.

I want to expand my horizons though. I know a few people including myself that play games on Xbox, PS3 and PC and I'd like to create something whereby people can enter their Xbox Live IDs or Steam ids plus their platform, any game they might own and an additional field such as email address or a URL etc.

Call of Duty 4 for example, we all have it but some of us are on PS3, some on Xbox, you get the idea.

So where do I start? Is there a basic script somewhere I can pour over?

What exactly do you want? Just a logger of what games people have and their ID's?
