help needed forcing www. subdomain(mod rewrite)

Hi there guys,

Due to some cookie stuff, I'm trying to force the www. subdomain on a site I'm working on. I've been working through htaccess, and have ended up with the following:

RewriteEngine on

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^domain\.com
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]

but this forwards from domain . com/page.php?option=yes&anotheroption=no to www . domain . com. I've lost the the URL completely, and it just forwarded it to the front of the site.

How do I get domain . com/page.php?option=yes&anotheroption=no to become www . domain . com/page.php?option=yes&anotheroption=no?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have mine setup like this:

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^{codesight.net$}
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} ^80$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.codesight.net/$1 [R=301,L]

I have the port 80 in there as I have a different rewrite rule for ssl
