Does anyone know the meta tag for not including my php pages in search results.

If you mean bots that gather information you can use robots.txt to tell those bots to not include your php pages. More information:
http://www.robotstxt.org/

I dont think you can decline anything with meta tags.

As with any such attempt to exclude robots, it will only work if the robot in question chooses to (a) detect it and (b) honor it.

On the google web,asters help section it says that pages blocked by robots.txt will still be indexed if linked from another page, and suggests using a meta not include tag. But it doesn't go into detail, I trolled the help section for what the meta tag actually is but couldn't find it. As I have always found these threads to be filled with incredibly knowledgable people I thought I would give it a try. From now on I'll stick to php specific queries.

I just want to say to all the people who have helped me a big thanks, I am well on my way to creating the perfect site, and have absolutely fell in love with PHP, specifically if ($this == "that") { do this etc.

ONe final question is, can you put an if and elseif argument inside an if argument?

Sure. Just keep track of your brackets, and to help keep your sanity be consistent in your indenting and bracket style:

if($this == $that)
{
   if($these == $those)
   {
      // do something
   }
   elseif($them == $us)
   {
      if(true == true)
      {
         // do something else
      }
      else
      {
         // that does not compute
      }
   }
   else
   {
      // the penultimate option
   }
}
else
{
   // the final option
}

I posted before I was doing that page, but got onto it before your reply so I had a crack and as glad when my tinkering finally made it do what i wanted. Similar to what you have above but far from regimental with my indenting.

I'll remember that for next time, and thank you for the effort you put into answering.
