display imagetype blob from MSSQL DB with PHP?

So I have scoured the net looking for a complete answer to this question.

I have a MSSQL DB I'm am connecting to for an employee database, the employee photos are stored in the database in a blob field (image type).

I know, that's not the best way to do it.. but I don't have a choice in that part..so I have to try and deal with it.

My problem is that I have been able to get gibberish to appear, or nothing at all, but never the employee photo.

So what is the proper method of doing this?

Did You get any solution. I have the same problem and don't know how to solve it.

The following code was saved into a file called image.php and called in the page where I needed the image via the

How do You connect to a MS SQl-Server?

I used now ADODB to connect to MSSQL...
