I'm a freelance web designer.. I only know a little on programming. I'm currently working on a site and I'm tasked to put a blog feature on the site, I'm putting b2e. I have already installed it and currently running, I'm trying to modify it as what my client wants.. I've been helped to show the login form as the first page but unfortunately when I asked another question from the b2e forum, I wasn't answered.. the question I now have is.. when I click on register from the login form, i can't seem to register/go to register form, but I can log in only as admin.

My other question is.. will I be able to modify the login page? change the logo or add content?

I'm not familiar with b2e, but the documentation seems comprehensive. This section explains how to skin it, and on this other section it tells you that _formatting.php will control how your pages are formated. In regards to your issue we would have to see the code snippet where the link is being formatted/echoed so that we could help you change it to point to your registration page.

Thanks for the reply! 🙂 Very much appreciated. Attached is the contents of the conf folder under blogs. That was where I was taught to show the login page.. I can't seem to find a login.php page nor the register.php.. thanks so much.

I ran a global search for "href" on the conf folder and I didn't find any links pointing to either a login page or a registration one. I'm attaching the results so that you can see for yourself. My guess is that the link we seek is being defined in yet another .php file outside the conf folder.

I did find images being linked for the logo and so on, so that should help you to modify the look to some extent, see the attachment for references to such images.

PS: I did find this page in the documentation that is supposed to show how to make the login page your default page, just seeking for pointers on how b2e works, but it references to a couple of broken links Argg....

Yes, I read that portion of the manual too. Stopped at some point because I strongly believe those wiki haven't been updated yet. I guess they're referring to the previous version of b2e. I think I found the pages but I'm not sure if this is the one. Thanks so much.
