I don't feel like you bothered me, sorry if I gave that impression. I was only trying to get a little more information to be able to give better help. Some people tend to think that 10 logged in users at a time will create much traffic, I just wanted to make sure that you were not one of them.
Normally you can divide the traffic that the client/seller estimates with 10 and get an estimate of the real traffic. That equals about 100 simultanous database connections, which I still consider quite high. Of course that math might be wrong in this case, I can't say.
Database design and indexes are always worth thinking about, but I doubt that you have to worry about load balancing.
