[RESOLVED] simple page (ultimate newb)

I don't want to have a series of html pages, so how do you make the simple, simple dead simple page where you click links within the page to show new text within the page.

a text link to b

b text link to c

etc. etc.

I'm sorry to insult you guys with such a basic question,

I tried strings but couldnt figure out how to link... and google and w3schools was no help because I dont know what I'm looking for.

i have a series of pages with instructions, instead of having 10 or so pages, I just want one php with something like

example: .com?=01 for each act/section within that page..
