i'm totallity new on PHP, i'm teacher in a high and i want to make a portal for my students, so i want to know, if is possible generate a interface using php (like phpnuke, but customized)

i don't know any about php, i'm just want to start to code and that is my goal :queasy:

any tip of you guys? 😉

If you do not know any PHP, writing your own CMS (content management system) might be biting off a lot more than you want to chew at this point. You might want to look around a bit at www.opensourcecms.com to see if something there provides the functionality you need.

I don't mean to discourage you from learning PHP; entirely the opposite. It's just that doing a CMS wrong can open up all sorts of security holes on your site, so I'd rather see you start with some smaller steps, maybe little projects on a private site where security is not a big issue.
