php cron error

I was trying to get the cron running on the following .php code :

$root = $_SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"];
require_once("open/test.php");

and i got this error :

Warning: require_once(open/test.php) [[1]function.require-once]:
failed to open stream: No such file or directory in
/home/test/public_html/open/test.php on line 4 Fatal error:
require_once() [[2]function.require]: Failed opening required
'open/test.php'(include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php')in
/home/test/public_html/open/test.php.php on line 4

Can anyone please kindly help me on that php code please. Thanks

The file is exist.. How can i use the full server path.. Please kindly advice me. Thanks

The cron im using to calling this is :

/usr/bin/lynx -dump http://www.example.com/open/test.php.php

Are you absolutely positive the file is located at /home/test/public_html/open/test.php ? PHP doesn't have a tendency to lie - if it says file not found, you must have made a mistake in the path or filename...?

Yes, im absolutely positive on the file, as for other file it works like a charms but this one im having trouble while trying to get the cron job done :

$root = $_SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"];
require_once("open/test.php");

cron job :

/usr/bin/lynx -dump http://www.example.com/open/test.php.php

I think there are some mistake there on the code, can anyone please kindly assist me on to correct the code please. Thanks

Wait... where are you placing this code? It looks as if you're placing it in the "test.php" file itself, which obviously doesn't make sense.

Also, note that $root = $_SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"]; is doing absolutely nothing in the code you've provided.
