Hi all. I am new to mysql/php, so please assume that I don't know much (understatement). I have been in front of this darn thing for two days straight and although I'm not 'getting it' yet, at least I'm frustrated🙂 I have downloaded a template from built2go.com and am having problems understanding what I need to do to get this thing to work.
I am currently using an ipowerweb server,
they are running apache v 1.3.33
php v 5.2.4
Mysql v 5.0.45
zend optimizer and ioncube loader
GD library 2.0+ - with FreeType enabled
I created a database, but am unsure if I'm supposed to to anything to it.
I uploaded the files to my root directory, but I am not able to run the install.php.

I get the following error:
"The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log".
I checked the log and didn't see any errors.
I am willing to give access to my cpanel. [MOD EDIT: AUP compliance]
