Ok I am using WAMP Server and I am trying to script something new but the output is something I haven't seen before. Everything looks fine to me in the coding it's just that something went wacko... So can anyone spot anything I did wrong?

Can you perhaps attach the file? Looks like you used some editor that added a bunch of RTF (Rich Text Formatting, basically a cheap version of M$ Word) code to your script.

i did save it as a rtf.. on ms word... lol.

what am i suppose to save it as? cause im use to using notepad but i switched to ms word cause i thought it was easier.

Easier? Not for typing code - no way! Go back to Notepad and don't let M$ ruin your code.

If you'd like a better alternative, check out Notepad2 (my personal favorite), Notepad++, etc. etc. - there are threads in the Echo Lounge full of discussion concerning various PHP code editors.

PHPEdit is a good peice of software to use it marks the open and close brackets etc from if and while statements so you can easily track if all you loops etc are closed.
