php authorization error

We're completely new to PHP and are trying to get php running on windows 2003 / IIS 6.

We have setup the web service extensions for the php isapi extension. When browsing to our web site that has a php page, we get the following error message:

You are not authorized to view this page

You do not have permission to view this directorhy or page due to the access control list (ACL) that is configured for this resource on the web server.

We have given the IIS anonymous user account full access to the directory where our web site points and where the php files reside. We have tried everything and are out of ideas.

Any help or ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!

PS - I know that Linux would probably be a better option, but for various reason, we must get this working on Windows 2003 Server and IIS 6.

check the permissions on the website in IIS, see if the ISUR_ user or Everyone has read & execute

Are you by chance the person who integrated PHP with IIS? If so, can you describe the steps you took to do so?

No, I'm only giving a suggestion.

When running a site on IIS with ASP I had received the same exact message. Once I set up the ISUR_[localbox] and the Everyone group to allow, read & execute, list directory, are read permissions. I was able to run the scripts.
