Hi, I have already written my own blogging system, but want to make a newer and better one, but I want to add permalinks into the design. How do they work? and are their any simple example on how they work? at the moment my blog refrences id's in a database.... so http://site.com/blog?id=34 for example. But I would like to have as site.com/blog/2007/title. Probably asking alot to help me design a whole blogging system, but anyhelp would be appreciated.
