[RESOLVED] if statement for a certain time?

I am wanting to do something like this below that will do something is the server time is between 9pm at night and 8am the next morning, can someone help me please

if (time is between 9pm at night and 8am the next morning){

//do something

}else{

//do something

}

Use the [man]date/man command to get the hour (in 24-hour format, so just 'G') and check if it's greater than 21 and less than 8.

You'll need to use an or operator instead of an and (if the current hour is greater than 21 or less than 8). Also, you'll probably want a >= for the first comparison.

if ($time24 >= 21 || $time24 < 8) {

Woops, yeah, should be an 'or' condition.
