Hey all,
I'm wondering about a problem that's been perplexing me for 5 months now. I have a client that uses InsightBB for his ISP and Outlook Express to send email. When he sends email using his insightbb address they go through fine, but if he changes to his xxx@hisdomain.com address (still using SMTP mail.insightbb.com) they are flagged as spam by virtually everyone. I've done dnsstuff on hisdomain.com and only seen a few minor warnings - no show stoppers and he's not using the mail.hisdomain.com anyway so I don't see why it would even matter. The IP address currently dynamically assigned to him by insight is on a few blacklists, but wouldn't that mean any email he sends out would be flagged as spam (if this was in fact the reason?)
His Outlook Express email settings are exactly the same for the 2 accounts except for the "User -> email address" in the options. I feel like I'm going insane - has anyone come across something similar to this?
