Hi,

I want to set up a database driven website for the second hand car listing.

The idea is that the second hand car seller files his advert. Anyone can search the filed adverts and contact the seller directly. The adverts are stored based on basic structure, like car manufacturer, model, year, mileage, color, condition, price, etc….

Is anyone aware of some php packages/boards that can do this job, that could be installed easily, and would require only minor cosmetic modifications?

any ecommerce site should do the trick.

how about searching:

or you can try:

- http://www.zencart.com/

or you could even create your own using PHP & MySQL.
