[RESOLVED] [REGEX] Validation md5 file name.

Hi.
I've to check a string like this

0dc109e92a2dfd9ce3d5de3ecbdeac5e.jpg

I don't mind very much of the file extensions
( it must be 3 or 4 character lowercase)

My best :o

function isValidFileName($uid){
   		return (bool)preg_match('/^[a-f0-9]{32}\.[a-z]{3,4}/',$uid);
	}

but it doesn't work 🙁

Yes, though I might write it as:

function isValidFileName($uid) {
    return preg_match('/^[a-f0-9]{32}\.[a-z]{3,4}$/D', $uid) != 0;
}
