I hope you are well. Thanks for looking a this post. I'm trying to do a query to check if a product or category is in a table. I have tried to solve this problem, but i'm a little stuck, so any help, advice, etc. is much apreciated.
The problem:
A customer puts items in his/her shopping basket. I query the shopping basket to check the product type and categories items in his/her basket. This is done by first querying the basket, then querying the products table to obtain the type and category. I can complete this section.
The next step i need to check if products in the basket are a certain type or category Example:
Product ID = 1, 3 or 10 : report_a = true
Product ID = 2, 4 or 12: report_b = true
Category ID = 30, 32, 34 : report_c = true
The user can have multiple items in basket, so might require reports a and c.
so the output would be
report_a = true
report_c = true
