Will the force download above work on any platform and on any browser? or should I check for browser and/or platform type with IF statement first? If so, how that IF statement should be and what should I check there?

I've generally had good success using these headers to force a download:

header('Content-Length: '.$fileSize);
header('Content-Type: '.$mimeType);
header('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="'.$fileName.'"');
header('Content-Transfer-Encoding: binary');
header('Cache-Control: must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0');

and somewhere I found this:

This works fine for me if I am on http:// but doesn't work if I am on httpS://
what is the problem of it with ssl?
