Can someone recommend an IDE that I can use for developing/maintaining a PHP application on Ubuntu 7? I'm new to PHP.

but my personal recommendations; Free : Aptana or Eclipse (with plugins) If you can afford to pay a bit : Zend Studio
You can also search for them in Google... download them... try them out.
