I am getting problem with inserting and selecting japanese data to/from MS-SQL 2005. For testing, I created table with two columns of varchar and nvarchar datatypes. So, when I tried to access column of nvarchar datatype, I got error messages as:
"Unicode data in a Unicode-only collation or ntext data cannot be sent to clients using DB-Library (such as ISQL) or ODBC version 3.7 or earlier."
and When I tried to access column of varchar then, I got the data as "????????" instead of some japanese characters. I am using the mssql functions as mssql_connect(), ... function.
I am in great trouble. Thanks in Advance.
