Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; 'Resource id #3' at line 1

I have updated my database- only very slightly, added more details and deleted some rows thats were not necessary, nothing in my php references these deleted rows and i have gone through it again and again to make sure i've not made a stupid error. ive even reverted back to the old create.sql script and its still got errors !!!
this is the error that appears in the php page🙁

please someone tell me what i have done!! this resource #3 thing is complete mystery to me.

We'll need to see the PHP source code where the error is occurring. All I can tell you right now is that you are probably using a variable in your query which is currently set to the result of a mysql_query() function, which returns a Resource ID (not the actual query results).

You probably forgot to fetch the result with mysql_fetch_row() or the like. So you're trying to use the query resource ID as a string.

I have the problem fixed, my database insert script needed a space! it seemed to work after i fixed that, although have been moving a few things around too so maybe i did something i didn't relise lol
