[RESOLVED] NAV bar link change to none link after click!

Hello there,

How would you go about making a link not a link once you click it and the page loads again?

I have a tab_bar it has 5 links that point to different features of the website, after the user click a link, and the new page loads how can I have that link be a none link till a different link is clicked

the tab_bar is a file that is included on every page of the site

any ideas, I don't care if I had to have stuff show up in the url to make this work

people can type it in like these ways:
news.yoursite.com or yoursite.com and click the news tab or yoursite.com/news or like yoursite.com/?feature=news

any of these ways would return the user to the screen with the news system.

Use a variable to store which page is running on.

so you are saying to create a var of which page the person is on right that moment,

so if person was to click the tab for news then I would create a var called tab=news

I don't get how this would do any thing, could you tell me more? can you show me example?

remember, the tab_bar is a file of its own that I include in all pages.
