We have installed the default PHP5 under Debian and have both PHP5 apache module and the cgi version available. The php5cgi configuration however is not working correctly. The php5cgi interpreter is not being called when a cgi file is executed. Is there a modification of the apache config file that needs to be made? I tried using a shebang line at the top of the cgi scripts and that doesn't help, even with the ini declaration for a shebang line. Can anyone help?
