Hello friends...
i inserted an image in to database by using the base64encode technique. How can i retrieve the same image from database by decoding it. And How can i display that image.
Please do some help for me..

Sorry, I can't give you the answer, but I can tell you why I can't give you the answer.

Storing images in a database is the wrong way to go about it. You use up way too much space and it is not as reliable as simply storing the path to the image. Your database will become slow and unmanagible in size if you are planning to store lots of images.

Upload the image to a folder and only store the image name...this works much better.

Agreed. I tried to do the same thing avvishnu did when I first started. It is a best-practice to pass the file to the script, move the file to a location, and store the location of the file in the db. That way you can call the path, keep the size of your db more manageable, and overall enhance optimization for the way your scripts that process your searches or retrieve media files run.

Also agree. Every db manager I know says the same thing.
