Usage limitations

Hi.

I would like some advice about a PHP script being written to submit form results to a MySQL database. Generally speaking the expected traffic is 10,000 records during a 30 day period, and we will be recording 8 pieces of information. Is PHP a suitable language for writing a script to process this amount of data?

Just about any language you use can be well or poorly suited for the job - it mainly depends on the coder. In reality, I don't think it'll matter much, as what you're talking about is quite small (only an average 14 records per hour!).
