Recommend a good PHP debugger

Actually I'd settle for a bad one. Anything beats sprinkling your code with echos and prints.

I just downloaded Rapid PHP but for the life of me I can't get the debugger part of it to work.

I know a lot of folks use the Zend tools and I don't mind buying into their whole suite but for right now I'm just looking for a debugger.

Zend studio is by far and away the best, but for free eclipse (eclipse.org) with the PDT plugin is probably about the best you are going to do.

Zend. They make a whole suite of PHP based products. Never used any myself.
