I have nearly built my shopping cart. I am storing orders as .html files in a folder. Can someone point me in the right direction on how I could download all the contents of a specific folder on the server?
I do not know of any way to directly download a folder, only files. Perhaps you could use the [man]Zip[/man] extension to create a zip archive, then download that file?
files ? why not a database?
download from server to home? take a look at the php ftp commands http://nz.php.net/manual/en/ref.ftp.php
I did this so you could take hard copies of any orders, without the need to take up further space in the database.
