How to debug a PHP code just like we debug a C code by F7/F8 by running it?

There may be some IDE or special software out there designed to help debug PHP, but I don't know of any.

What's wrong with debugging code the old fashioned way - examine the line number given in the error message and look for whatever type of error it tells you?
