htaccess and Regular Expression

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help me with my URL rewriting. I have this

http://mydomain.com/events/index.php?events=2&title=Car-Collectors-of-new-york

and i would like to make this:

http://mydomain.com/events/Car-Collectors-of-new-york.html

Im regualar expression challenged.

I forgot to mention that i wanted to have .html extension as well.

Where does the "events=2" come from? Is that a constant value? If so:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^events/(.*).html$ events/index.php?events=2&title=$1

should work.
