When I write html, I can preview the page locally with Mozilla (or any browser, I just
happen to use Mozilla in a version called IceApe). I just do File/Open to view the page.
When I try to open a php file with Mozilla, it doesn't know what to do with it. Does
anyone please know if there is an extension of Mozilla which would enable it to
display and execute php files?
I keep reading about servers, databases, and I don't know what else. I want none of
that. I am just looking for a way to test simple php web pages locally.
Having to compile them first with some command line would be no trouble (once I
know what the command line should be).
Once I get it working locally, I can upload it to a server. But uploading every trial and
testing the pages remotely does not seem a good idea...
Please help
