Two Drop Down's

I am new to php and hope u ppl will help me to solve this.

I have two drop downs

1st drop down - Select a Province
2nd drop down - Select an Area

What needs to happen here is once the 1st drop down has had an option chosen, the 2nd drop down needs to be populated with the Areas listed on the Dbase.

My Database has a table with the following:
id
province
area
tel
address.

I need help querying the database to populate the 2nd drop down, and oce that's populated, then if a user chooses an area from the result populated then I need to echo the Tel + address of the choice from the 2nd drop down.

If you are looking to update it dynamically (automatically without refreshing) you are looking at ajax and javascripting.
In fact your task is more javascriping then PHP
If you are not familiar with ajax at all you'll have a good challange ahead of you. You probably should check out prototypejs.org for a good ajax base
