Date Specific/Determined HTML

I administer the website for small local theatre. They do up to 10 productions a year lasting a week.
They have TWO box office numbers/details. One in use ONLY during the week run of each production and the other used at all other times.

The box office details are displayed on the home page (the new test site can be view at www.barntheare.co.uk/test.php)

Here is what I need...would like.

A piece of code that automatically changes the Box Office details on predetermined dates. As there are only up to 10 productions a year a database will probably not be necessary as the to and from dates could be entered in a text file or something...maybe!

I have no idea where to start as my PHP knowledge is very limited and my normal php helper is currently away travelling. I have spent some time searching the forum but as I am unsure exactly what I am actually looking for I felt a post would be best.

I was wondering whether there may be somebody here that can help me with this?
