Pagination Page Numbers

Hi,

The following code creates a simple pagination page, that displays a "NEXT " and "PREVIOUS" button in order to navigate between pages.

How do I add page number links, to enable the user to click a specific page number e.g. 3 in order to go directly to page 3?

You firstly need to record which page you are on.

$page = $_GET['page'];

if (empty($page)) { 
    $page = 1; 
}

Then you need to calculate how many records your search result yealds, and divide that by how many results you want to display on the page.

$numofpages = $totalrows / $limit;

And then you need to loop through and display your links:

		for ($i = 1; $i <= $numofpages; $i++) { 
			if ($i == $page) {
				echo $i."&nbsp;";
			} else { 
				echo "<a href=\"yourscript.php?page=$i\" title=\"Page $i\">$i</a>&nbsp;"; 
			} 
		}

But as bpat1434 said, even searching for 'PHP Pagination' in Google brings up a million and one results.
