Any eshop ebook related PHP Software out there ?

Hi,

I would dearly appreciate if someone can point me to a PHP / MySql script or Software that will allow me to sell online ebooks . I am not looking for eshops, webshops , ecarts...etc , just a cool application written in PHP with MySql database support that will allow people to buy and download ebooks they buy from the intended web site .

Any good eCommerce suite can do this. osCommerce or ZenCart or X-Cart are all good eCommerce software packages.

osCommerce sites with eBooks.
Seems like THIS is just what you are looking for. Uses osCommerce.

And Would it require a lot of PHP knowledge to write a script to download the purchased ebook .?

The 3D effect has nothing to do with php. It is a combination of html and some graphics design via illustrator or photoshop.

No, it wouldn't take much knowledge, but it would take enough. Typically you upload the ebook to your server, and osCommerce or ZenCart does the download & authentication stuff for you. You just need to give it the correct amount for the book and the number of times they can download it (and sometimes the amount of time they have before the download becomes "stale").
