Fill textbox problem

I am filling a form text box from a function and if the text has more than one word it only loads the first word and then stops. I have checked the data that the function returns and it is more than one word.

Any thoughts?

You probably did not quote the value (i.e., value="$value" for the attribute), and if you did so, perhaps the value contains a quote but you failed to use [man]htmlspecialchars/man.

Thank you for the response. I am new (1 week) to PHP and have to learn the ropes. I found the solution to the problem from a bug report going back to 2003. The issue was failure to put "" around the PHP syntax

'<?php echo(loadvalue("groupname")) ;?>'
