[RESOLVED] php session settings

I'm having trouble with my session being deleted (timing out?). I think it is related to starting the session with different settings on different pages. Would that cause this problem and is there a function to print out all the session's settings?

you can print your PHP options using this:

<?php
phpinfo();
?>

look for the word 'session'.

yes i know phpinfo(), i meant more like settings that are changed inside the php script.

You could use [man]ini_get[/man] at various points.

Are the different pages in different directories or subdomains (hint: http://mysite.com is NOT the same as [url]http://www.mysite.com)?[/url] If so, then you'll need to manually configure the session cookie so that it applies for your entire domain/all subdirectories
