Has anyone come across a good way to interface PHP with a function library or toolkit that will take an uploaded video and encode it to .FLV? Basically the way YouTube does it but here's my logic flow:
- User uploads a video
- The video is moved to a temporary location
- The video is then re-encoded to .flv and moved to it's permanent location
- The original video is deleted
- The path to the .flv would then be stored in the db
I'm pretty confident I can do all those steps but I don't have much experience with FLV, let alone converting videos to it (outside of using Flash of course).
Thanks for the input!
