I have a .txt file that has 60,000+ english words in it, all separated by a line break. Does anyone know of a way that I can toss all of these words into a mysql db so that each word is a unique row/record?
If using phpMyAdmin, you could just import it as a CSV file.
Would that then require me to go back into the text file and replace line breaks with commas, or does phpmyadmin handle line breaks?
Nope. The row separator for a CSV file would be the line breaks. Commas would be for column separators, but since you only have one column per row, there are no commas involved. Lucky, eh? 😉
Hah, yes. Works out quite well for me.
