It's not ereg that's causing a problem neither, I used it before these and it works right. I also don't think it's the regex themselves, as I use them on all my sites (the huge | list is all the possible cTLDs and gTLDs) any ideas?
EDIT: Nevermind earlier looked at the wrong section.
