Page permissions?

Hi,
I have a folder called includes which as suggested contains all my pages that are to be included. I have placed an index file in that folder to stop the exploded folder view that is displayed. How can i stop the pages from being displayed unless they are in an include?

What I would recommend is setting a global variable in the file that does the including and then check if that variable is set as the first thing in the include files and die() if it's not set.
