can I know how can I compile various compilers available for FEDORA 8 from web based site using php.can I use the web services for that work.please give me the simplest method.

I don't know if I grasp what you're asking, but you'll probably want to look into system() or shell_exec() , if you're wanting to pass commands into your system from a website. You'll have to be careful to make sure that the user PHP/Apache runs as has permission to compile and run the software, though.
