Calling Image up from a php/msql database

Hello all,
PLease I need help on how to call up image from a database.

Here is the scenario,:
I have a form that filled and images are attached to it and submitted successfully to the database. But When I call up the form that had been filled, it comes up, but the image is not displayed. What and what do i need to do so that this image comes up with the data it was posted with? any form of suggestion is highly appreciated.

Is the image stored in a BLOB or is the data in the database just a link to the location of the image on the server?

If it is just the link check that you are not trying to link to the image via the server root but with the domain root

The image is stored in the database , and when the form is filled and submitted the images get posted properly into the database, but the form is called up, the image does not get to show. If I check it in the database it appears there.

What is the value in the image field in the database?

It is easier and more end user friendly to store the url in the db.

How will I make sure the picture is pointed to in the db so that it will display.?

You could create an upload script that saves the image into a folder and the path into a row in the db. Look at... http://www.phpeasystep.com/phptu/1.html and http://www.tizag.com/mysqlTutorial/mysqlinsert.php then if you have any errors within your code post it here 🙂
